Typically, students’ progress to our award-winning groups and ceili bands where they get the chance to play in festivals and compete in national competitions. The student's teacher will advise whether they are ready to join the groups. Typically, a child of 8 to 10 years with a year or two of playing would be ready to join.

The bands meet in Joey’s at 6pm on Saturday evenings until 8pm. Bring your pocket money as there is a tuck shop!

Our club runs Bands at U18, U15, U12 and U10. The goal is to have over 20 players in each band so we encourage all students taking classes to join in.

In the Dublin Fleadh Cheoil 2022 the CCT bands were in great form, with U18s coming first, U15s coming third, U12s coming second!
